Does anyone know how to recover a 700P display?

on boot, a white screen is displayed, which states...

Enabling update mode

Loading image from flash

The operating system of the HMI device is damaged or missing.

Please update the operating system with reset to factory settings....

Then it stops.

can anyone assist?

I can find the device in TIA, but it appears as a cp4bootce but I'm unable to do anything with it, except change its IP address.

I've also tried copying the firmware to a boot USB drive but that doesn't appear to do anything.

What is the part# of your HMI?  It looks like an OEM brand-labelled TP700, and may have a special firmware that is not available in TIA Portal.

Is this the thing you have?  If so, you'll probably end up having to contact Evoqua.

Yes, that's the same.

I've contacted Evoqua but they won't respond.

I'm assuming that I would need to be a partner to deal with them?

I don't know about whether being a partner or not will help, but you will have to contact them anyway because it's not only the operating system you need, you'll need the HMI project as well.
