How to change encoder reading from positive to negative

Does anyone know how to change the reading on Omron servo motor reading from negative to positive?

The encoder is reading negative values when it is moving in the forward direction. 

I am using 1S servo on NX1P2 controller on Sysmac studio software. 

Please suggest.

Hi!

You should open the parameters list of the servo, and then change the OD 3000.01 from 0 to 1.

Multiply by -1, or there is an instruction to return Absolute Value.

You must choose the appropriate direction CW or CCW in Setup and Tuning, transfer settings to drive and reboot the drive.
Next do homing!
