One 4-20mA signal to two analog inputs

4 posts in this topic

Hi,

I want to read transducer signal on PLC.

I am using 7kg60008ab/nn transducer and it's analog (4-20mA) output is connected with analog meter.

Can I connect the transducer current output (4-20mA) signal to PLC analog input in series with analog meter display???

So that I can read the value on PLC simultaneously with analog meter?

If the analog input on the PLC is isolated/differential, then yes, you can route the loop through the PLC between transmitter and meter.

I have Fatek PLC FBs-6AD . Its datasheet shows " Isolation- Transformer(Power) and photo-coupler(Signal)"

The wiring diagram in that document suggests that each input is differential and isolated. The manual doesn't say that is the case, but it looks like it.  You'll have to try.  I would expect it to work.  Neither the power nor photo-coupled signal isolation indicate that the input terminals themselves are channel-to-channel isolated or isolated from ground.
