Sysmac simulator does not seem to work

6 posts in this topic

Hi.

When i run the plc in the simulator, only certain stuff seems to work, most logic seems to work.

Timers seems to refuse to start at all, the sim is in RUN mode using Sysmac 1.45 Standard edition.

Do you have a duplicate instance of the timer? Care to share the program?

I have tripple-tripple checked all my tripple checks and the xref only shows one by that name.

I also just noticed that the timers(?) Get100msClk etc are not firing either.

Also stuff like "SetABit" does not set bits even when the rung shows green all thru.. Here i would assube bit 2 should be set and the bAlarmFlah does not seem to be set either (circle is not filled)

Found out today what was wrong.

These checkboxes has to be checked in the Multiview explorer

Thank you for posting the solution. I didn't know those check boxes were there. They do appear to be checked by default.

The check boxes allow you to test parts of your program without testing the whole thing.  They should have all been checked by default, so you must have unchecked them at some point, and that stopped the programs from being executed.
