GOT GT1030-HBD2 to Mitsubishi FX3S

4 posts in this topic

hi, may sound simple but I am struggling to connect my got GT1030-HBD2 to an fx3s plc.

After much digging, I have found that my got screen has RS232 format connection strip and the plc is 422 format.

I think I need an RS232 to RS422 converter?

The terminal strip on GOT screen has markings : SD,RD,ER,DR,SG,RS,CS,NC,NC.

Drawing below shows my terminals on right hand set, left hand set is the normal set for fx plc

Can anybody help?

Regards,

Philip

I would say. The most easy way to solve is to add a FX3G-232-BD, RS232 option to the FX3S PLC to connect the RS232 communication based GOT screen.
The FX3G-232-bd option is inexpensive and makes robust solution
