E910 File extension type

8 posts in this topic

Hi All

Have a customer with an E910 which is faulty.  They have sourced one from somewhere and are asking for our bespoke software to load into it.

As we inherited this from another branch that closed many years ago we donot have any knowledge of this and simply provide the upgrade to E1071 which is a DAT file (using E-designe) loaded by USB stick, .

Does the file for E910 also need to be a DAT file or something else?  The files for the screens are all currently as video files, type MPA

Many thanks

Ian

The dat file can only be loaded with a usb stick.

The e910 doesn't have a usb port.

You have to load it using transfer mode and the correct cable

As far as I know it is a compiled resource file, the contents being bespoke to Beijer.

Yes it's what appears to be a video file - but isn't.

It will open normally with e designer

I can’t connect to an E1610 HMI with the e designer 7.5. I was able to connect with an E610. Any suggestions??

For an E610 HMI you use a Beijer CAB5 cable (simple three wire).

For an E1061 you use a Beijer CAB30 cable.
