Need help!!

I having trouble connecting through public/private (wireless) on my NAT device remotely,

seems that not all laptop can connect through wireless, cuz, i can successfully connect using my colleagues devices( few others cannot as well).

is there any particular setting required for a my hardware?

IT already have done many things, like updating my Firmware, updates, etc.

thanks

please explain in more detail what you're trying to do.

The 1783-natr usually connects an AB PLC to an internal wired LAN.

The 1783-natr does not have a wireless component.

The NATR im trying to access is wired directly to the company's Network.

And my device(my PC) is connected to that network via WI-FI.

I want my PC to connect to that NATR through that Network via WI-FI.

or am I doing it wrong. this is new assignment to me btw.

thanks for the reply.

Can you ping the NATR public ip? Can you ping it if wired connection. Usually divide and conquer is a good method with network issues

I would compare your wireless ip with the wired one. Could be a subnet issue if the IPs are not on the same network

sorry, I misunderstood.

Wired connection via the network--> ping not OK

Wired connection via local(direct to NAT)--> ping is OK

When you’re local to NAT, can you access the devices on the NAT network?

Sounds like a routing issue with your wireless network. Check the wired and wireless IPs

I think VFD Guy is right. There's a routing issue between your PC and the -NATR. You'll need to involve your local IT support, especially since it seems to work for colleagues and not you.

I'm attaching a very crude layout drawing of that I think you're dealing with.

Assume all is wired for now, and introduce wireless later.

The Laptop when inside can ping the local devices

Can the laptop ping the local and network addresses of the NATR from Inside.

When Outside can the Laptop ping the public address of the NATR?
