Hi guys,

I am trying to use ControlFlash to downgrade a powerflex's firmware version.

It is asking me if it is HP or LP. How do i know if it is LP or HP?

Thanks

Try right-clicking on the node in RSLinx and going to properties. Don't recall ever seeing that info there, but worth a shot. Other than that, I'm not sure. Looked and didn't see anything in the catalog number.

That said, typically Flash won't let you download the wrong firmware. Assuming LP and HP are don't share compatible firmware, try downloading one, then the other. If they both flash, you're back to square one with no harm done. If one flashes and the other doesn't, problem solved.

Sorry that I don't have a better answer.

Low power in PF755 and PF755 go upto 467amps (at 400v in my case)

The PF755HiHP drives are a modular construction and start at 460amps (at 400v in my case)

So if your drives are below 400amps it is a safe bet that they are LP drives.

Hi power 755 are frame 8-10. Everything else is low power. From rslinx, it will say hi pwr in the name. LP won't show in rslinx, it'll just say PowerFlex 755. For control flash - LP is low power and HP is high power
