Posted 21 May 2020 Hello colleagues, I bought a Chinese FX1N I need it for a university project and that's why I chose the Chinese clone. As you can guess, however, there is no documentation for it. I need to be able to run the outputs from the inputs with a button and in parallel to be able to run from another device via modbus. My question is how to drive the modbus itself, I read topics in the forum, documents, but nothing works. For the communication test I use Modscan32. Any ideas will be useful to me, because I have no idea how to release it. I am attaching the file sent to me by the seller and the product link. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32798110885.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.42e518dcrDi3G8&algo_pvid=3aeee406-9859-4624-a4a9-96277f40a12d&algo_expid=3aeee406-9859-4624-a4a9-96277f40a12d-4&btsid=0b0a01f815858298201466197e54ed&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Thanks in advance! Posted 22 May 2020 Good morning Sir. I trust you are doing well. The FX1N does not support Modbus communication. I have attached a link for you with the Mitsubishi documentation. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dmlmfxhsslmtqwx/AACu4qvID8R83r8Q1hJne0XQa?dl=0 This documents contain all the serial communication. Posted 22 May 2020 Hi, You have not purchased a clone, but a handicraft device. Yes, it can be programmed using Mitsubishi software, however, the implementation of the data exchange using the Modbus protocol is different completely of how it is implemented in the Mitsubishi PLC. To find out exactly how, you have to request documentation from your seller.
