Communicating to FX5U Using a FX5-ENET

9 posts in this topic

Hi guys

I need to be able to access a FX5U PLC through a FX5-ENET module. I am new to coding with Mitsubishi and would like some assistance.

Is it possible, and how would I go about connecting if it is?

Kind Regards

Morne

I think the search only works for the ethernet port on the CPU itself.
Why don't you use that one ?

I want to access it over a plant network, can I then just connect the CPU itself to the network?

Yes first just put the cable into the CPU's ethernet port and choose a direct connection in the transfer setup.
Then Program the Ethenertport with the IP adress you need it to be.

So I assume the FX5-ENET is just for communicating between PLC's and other devices?
