CS1D I/O Table

8 posts in this topic

Hi Dears,

My project configuration is according to below picture

in CX-Programmer i define I/O Table, but i do'nt know how to fill main rack modules like CPU,SCU,Ethernet, . . .

also in expansion racks we have slot 0~9 and in my rack first slot is I/O Interface, and second slot is empty. my I/O table Configuration is ok?

can anybody check it? I want to fill I/O table manually and not automatic with upload from PLC.

Best Regards

You right click and insert the modules.  The modules are in the exact same order in the picture as they are in your drawing.  If you have the hardware, you can go into program mode on the PLC and do a Create I/O table and it will make one for you based on the modules connected (but you said you don't want to do it this way).  Of course all the unit number dials on the cards with Blue lettering at the top need to be unique and all the unit numbers with green lettering at the top also need to be unique.    Other than that, I am not really sure what you are asking.

Ok, i have 2 question

One: in io table exist slot 0-9

I inserted module in picture true?

Two:

I added module but in main rack i not found this module to add them:

1- CPU 65H

2- ETN21

3-SCU modbus

For example for second rack i have below module:

1- IO interface

2- empty

3- AI1

4- AI2

5- AI3

6-AI4

7- DI1

8-DI2

9-DI3

My io table is according to attached picture?

Io interface and io control must be add or slot 0-9 is only for IO modules?

The CPU doesn't take a slot and is listed at the very top of your I/O Table.

Here is the ETN21 (in Communications Adapter group):

Here are the SCU units (there is no Modbus specification on the part, it can communicate many different protocols):

I don't think you are using the CS1D-IC102D correctly:

I think it has to be done like this:

Thank you for yoyr reply

i used this configuration

please inform me if it is not true.

I used one CS1D-IC102D and one CS1D-II102D ( These modules are not redundant but main rack CPU is Duplex)

My mistake. The drawing that I attached seemed to imply that you cannot use the CS1D-IC102D in a duplex CPU, single I/O system, but the drawing you attached above says that you can do so.  These seem to contradict each other.
