Hello Everyone,

 

Merry Christmas!

 

Could anyone help with an issue i am having. I am using a CNTR(12) to count parts. However, if i set the count to 10, it will count ten, but then need another trigger to reset the counter and start again, which means i will have had 11 counts.

Can anyone offer advice on how to overcome this? I have tried with a @--B(596) to deduct 1 from the set value but i don't want to be reliant on this at it could get falsely triggered when the machine is running.

Since CNTR is a reversible counter it is also a ring counter and 0 is a valid count point.  Have you considered INC and DEC as a substitute?
