GT01-C30R2-6P as a programming cable for Q series (GxWorks)?

3 posts in this topic

Hi all,
Until now I was using a QC30R2 cable and an USB/RS232 converter to program a Q02U CPU (GxWorks2).
Now I don't have this QC30R2 cable anymore, so I am wondering if I could use GT01-C30R2-6P cable instead.

GT01-C30R2-6P can be used for connection between QCPU and GOT/personal computer (GT SoftGOT1000).

The Q02U CPU is used for simulation only, so I can't afford to add any Ethernet unit and I would like to use CPU's built-in Mini-din 6-pin "programming" connector.

As I can buy a very cheap brand new GT01-C30R2-6P cable, any feedback is welcome.

Thanks in advance
Nicolas
