Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Compact-series HMI were first marketed with all programming via built-in web browser.

Is anyone else providing a HMI with no software needed?

You're talking about the PV Component, right? They've been discontinued. Do the newer PV800s offer the same functionality?

I'm not aware of any others. I'll say that, at least when they were new, the web browser programming of the PV Components didn't work well for us. It was a little unreliable and there wasn't a way to make an offline backup.
