Panel View 550

Hi , I've got an SLC 5/03 and a panel view 550 and want to be able to stop the SLC if coms is lost with the panel view has any one got any suggestions there must be a simple way I'm missing here.....

What is the network? - DH-485, DF1? - RS-232, RJ-45?. Can you explain more the connection into PanelView and SLC? Than you.

It's on a DH485 conection direct between the 5/03 and the panel view Jezz

SLC-5/03 has got two words (S2:9 and S2:10) wich the 32 nodes to DH-485 Network. S2:9/0 ----- Node 0 S2:9/1 ----- Node 1 | | | | | | S2:9/15 ---- Node 15 S2:10/0 ---- Node 16 | | | | S2:10/15 Node 31 The active node in the DH-485 actives the corresponding bit, when one node isn´t in the network the correspondig bit is 0.
