Hello everyone,

can u help me out please, quite urgent !!! :(

i have GS2107-WTBD HMI display along with FX5U-80MT-ESS, i had one of HMI designs made on GT designer 3 by earlier designer (not in my contact now). i uploaded the graphics to HMI module and later it stuck to the initial LOGO screen and doesnt move further, moreover the HMI is not communicating with PC. i suspect it had remote password with it

how can i remove this issue or hardware rest the HMI with factory defaults

guidance required

I don't think that you have a password issue just that there is no comm with the PLC.

Can you post the HMI ethernet settings and those of the FX5U?

presently i am just trying to use USB cable between PC and HMI & no FX5U is interfaced, here at least new graphic projects should have been uploaded, but it shows no communication and gives error and the HMI screen is frozen to Logo 'GOT SIMPLE'  Please see attachments

Thank You

Well you should be able to download the firmware this would set it into factory settings. But you seem to have a connection problem.

What does the Device manager on your PC show when you plug in the USB cable ?

Have you tried Rebooting the HMI and sending a new project when it's rebooting it should start when it's ready.

Also can you read the project from the HMI?

You don't have comms to the FX5 that why they are not shown.

Add a light on device SM412. When you have comms than that should start turning on and off

You have used the wrong driver for FX5U, you have to use the MELSEC IQ-F driver instead of the FX driver. It will also change the port number to 5001.
