Is there a list of words, particularly d0000- dxxxx, used by got hmi that is not apparently found in gx works program but cannot be used since it will affect the hmi, like turn off hmi screen. For example i cannot find d14 in program but it is being used in hmi but not in buttons, rather configuration. Plc and hmi Connected via ethernet, udp protocol

It is possible that the program loaded in HMI has been created for a machine with more functionality and just a part of it is not used on your machine. It is also possible that somebody has erased part of the program loaded in the PLC.

It may also be that the HMI is simply using PLC data as a memory "container". Simply a storage space instead of using the internal variables of the HMI. I cannot guess why this has been done, and it sounds very strange, but it is possible.

How did you verify that e.g. D14 is not being used in the PLC (but used in the HMI)? Note that variables doesn't always show up in search if they are used inside arrays. One example could be that there is a "HMI system array with indexing" from D0-D100 which is being used in both the HMI and the PLC. That way, D0 will show in search, but D14 will not if it's addressed e.h. D0Z1.

Solved. Gp 4000 has display control linked to plc in display unit> system area where dxxx is specified.
