Posted 12 Jun 2017 I'm not new to Omron, so I'm pretty embarrassed to say I am losing a battle with connecting an NS5-TQ11 to a CP1H PLC through a CP1W-CIF41 module. At one point I was able to connect and download programs via ethernet to both units, but now I have broken that connection on the NS5. Originally I used the default IP address of the CIF41 (192.168.250.1), but does that require the use of a routing table? I am now exploring how to set the IP using the DM area, but this "FD" thing and n+155 & n+156 has me totally confused. Any help would greatly be appreciated. It is just an HMI to a PLC, so I'm sure I'm missing something fairly simple. PLC IP = 192.168.250.1 HMI IP = 192.168.250.2 PC IP = 192.168.250.
Posted 13 Jun 2017 Don't be embarrassed, this is a confusing setup. In the link above I have posted a document with step by step instructions from Omron.
