Posted 19 Apr 2017 I know that there exists a FX3GA, but I think that FX3GA is a Japanese model not available in the rest of the world (I'm not sure though). You'll probably (don't know) need a Japanese version of the software (which will be with Japanese language). Where did you get the FX3GA from? 1 person likes this

Posted 19 Apr 2017 Is this possibly a copy plc. I am going on the first 8 inputs and outputs. The numbers are bigger than the rest Maybe it's something I have not noticed before on an FX3.. 1 person likes this
Posted 20 Apr 2017 Ron, 40 I/o is a standard brick size, was used with the FX1N too. Never heard of FX3GA, so I would expect it's only for certain markets. 1 person likes this
Posted 21 Apr 2017 It's probably an Asian market unit, FX3G for Asia. This unit is probably made in China (under licence) for the local Asian market. All Mitsubishi PLC I have here are made in Japan. Take a look at the label on the unit, does it say made in China ? 1 person likes this

You should probably purchase a PLC for your current location and use your existing GX Developer. 1 person likes this
Posted 9 May 2017 I have just programmed a China FX3U with my english GX Developer version 8.91. Worked for everything I needed. That unit was purchased directly in China.
Posted 10 May 2017 Doesn't matter where it's purchased if it's called "FX3U". The "special" models have special names (like FX3GA). If the unit says "FX3U" it's a regular FX3U no matter what, even if it's purchased in China... 1 person likes this
