Auto email from RSLOGIX 5000

I have a question.

I want to get an email from rslogix 5000 automatically.

Can this one be done?

I'm aware of some MicroLogix processors having an SMTP capability, programmed via RSLogix500.

I'm not aware of any Compact or ControlLogix processors having an SMTP capability, programmed via RSLogix5000.

But there is an Active X in the later models of the PV+ platforms that can be triggered from the PLC.

RSLogix5000 would not email you, but the Logix processor could.  Which processor model do you have?
