MAD 42

3 posts in this topic

Hello,

I use a MAD 42 ON A cj1m to produce a  read out for a NS Screen measuring the current being drawn by a HV Power Supply that is used for electro statically covering tin plate with oil. The power supply failed the other day and a lot of sheets received no oil coverage. I need to devise a compare function that will activate if the current level falls to a minimum level. I use >(310) and <(320) in some of my programmes  but dont think they will work on 16 bit binary. Can someone please tell me what function I can use to measure the INT function.

Many Thanks

Thanks Banker. I intend to use the <S function. So my first value would be set at &1 and the second value that of the current reading is generally at -2 so hopefully the alarm bit will turn on if this value falls below 1. Unless you can see a easier way to do it.

Regards
