Pin Out Comms Cable

I Have a CQM1H PLC that I want to connect to a NS8 touch screen I'm after a cable pin out for the RS 232 cable. I have tried the same pin out that I use to connect to the PLC and my PC for programming with no luck. Thanks in advance

4 - 5 tied together at both ends (shorted - solder is the easiest).
