pid How to create PID program on FX3G?

10 posts in this topic

I wanted to make a PID program on FX3GE

This system to regulate air pressure. There is a pressure transmitter must be set at 7 bar and there is an inverter that controls the frequency of the compressor. So when the pressure reads below 7 bar, the motor speed should rise. When pressures above 7 bar, the motor speed must fall.

I need an example PID program on ladder diagram.

https://us.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/en/support/technical-support/knowledge-base/getdocument/?docid=3E26SJWH3ZZR-41-11024

In the link above is an older manual for FX2 programming. Section 5.9.8 shows the use of PID instructions and even has an example at the end. This will work for the FX3 series PLCs as well.

When linking to the site you will be prompted to create an account with Mitsubishi. This is merely to access their database and no other purpose. I would suggest doing so, their knowledge base is full of useful programming examples.

Hope this helps.
