hey can someone help me i dont understand how to communicate a DATAMAN60 with a PLC s7-1200 through an RS-232 communication the problem is with programming the module that contains the RS-232 port i dont know if the DATAMAN60 send data automatically or i have some programming to do

It should send result data after you trigger it.  At least thats how the rest of the DM series works over profinet.

so there is no need of programming the RS-232 module on the PLC

you'll still have to write code to catch the serial string from the DM60.  you just shouldnt have to do anything on the barcode side to make it send.
