XW2Z 24 Pins connector standard?

3 posts in this topic

Hello, I'm looking for some additional Omron cables (XW2Z + terminal block). I was wondering if the 24-pin connector used on an ID215 or OD215 module is something 'Omron' specific or an open standard? I would like to create them myself because they are quite expensive. Thanks, Andy.

I'm looking at CJ1W cards and don't see an ID215 or OD215. Which PLC are you talking about?

These are for a C200H PLC. These cables COULD be made up using flat ribbon cable and an IDC connector at each end. PLC connector is a FUJITSU FCN-367 and terminal block a standard MIL rectangular socket the other end. Personally I wouldn't waste my time doing this. Got better things to do and cable cost is small compared to complete PLC Rack. My 2.07496 cents. OMRON Cables for Relay Blocks.pdf
