Keyence Bar-code Scaner with Omron PLC

Hi all, The Bar-code Scaner connection cable are using RS232 connect to Omron PLC. What kind instructions to receive the bar-code? Thanks in advance,

You would use the receive command (RXD). The port has to be set up for RS-232C mode which means that the port is not using any specific protocol, just TXD and RXD commands.

Hello, Im asking for help to anyone on how to make ladder diagram on Omron PLC (CPM2A or CJ1M) connected to generic Barcode Scanner. If there is a barcode on any products the scanner will send info to the plc and activate one of the plc output and de-activate if there is no barcode detected.. The barcode scanner I have is using USB and R422 cable, how can I connect to rs232 port of the PLC. Thanks.
