CJ2M not communicating through ethernet

I have a CJ2M processor and I am not able to communicate with it via the ethernet. I am new at the Ethernet coms and I've tried all that I know. I have the PLC node address (192.168.0.12) and HMI/PT address (...13). Even when I try to go online the Ethernet network does not show. Suggestions??? Thank you.

You need to set your computer's address to 192.168.0.(x) to use the same network. After that use Ping to verify connections.

also all nodes on same network need to have same Subnet Mask (such as 255.255.255.0 for example)
