does mitsubishi have redundant PLC that is SIL3?

Redundancy is the opposite of safety. A redundant system has the goal to keep working even though components fail. A Safety system will go into a safe state as soon as a component fails. For a SIL 3 system there are two CPU's in the QS001CPU. However this is not for redundancy but to check the outcome of the first PLC. Both PLC's in a safety PCL are running the same code and should have the same outcome if this is not the case then it should go into a safe state.
