555-1105 PLC; ET200M I/O; Diagnostics

I am using a Siemens 555-1105 PLC connected via ProfiBus to Siemens ET200M I/O. I am using a IM153-2 Interface Module. Has anyone created the code necessary to retrieve and/or display/alarm the diagnostic information from this interface module using this PLC? I have started to do this, but feel I may be re-inventing the wheel. If anyone has developed this code, I would be interested in seeing it.
