Software to Scan for IP Address

I am looking for software that will scan/ping PLC's/devices on a network and automatically increase the address and display the devices found. Any thoughts?

I use NMAP with the Zenmap graphical front end. Angry IP Scanner is popular too, and I'm sure there are others.

I use Angry IP scanner because it is small simple to use and fast. if you choose to give it a try, increase number of threads (max 65535), it dramatically cuts down scanning time

Another vote for Zenmap. I've found a simple Ping scan to be pretty fast. There's also a portable version that can be run straight from a flash drive.
