Looking for good panel building / schematic creation guide book

4 posts in this topic

Looking for a good guide book that covers panel building and the associate creation of schematics...something that covers ladder diagrams, symbols, analog circuitry, etc. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks, good link. I'll give it a good looking over. While we're on this topic, what are the different types of wiring diagrams? I know there are point-to-point and schematic types, but I seem to often see a hybrid of the two...a schematic that's mainly a schematic except all-of-a-sudden there's a full-blown component in it. Is there some sort of standard here? Thanks again.

Here in the USA, at least for me. I just the JIC standard. A long time ago, I made a menu add on for AutoCad, you can download that here: http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=146
