Open project you want to protect -> in top Tab open Project -> Security -> User Managment. Set there user and password. Confirm. Next time to open project you need username and passoword. M.

Keep in mind user security is for PC only, to protect once in PLC you still need a PLC password.

thank u for reply... i found cpu and project security on gx work .. so basically when i set password on cpu security, cpu will ask when somebody try to access cpu? this apply to bus or network access too? and project security will protect file when somebody try to open it? i cant find cpu security on gx developer .... so it`s impossible for gx developer to protect plc ?

You can't.

If it was a PLC password, you could erase the PLC and start over.  If the project has a password, you won't be able to open it without that password.

The manual for your software will explain how to set PLC passwords.
