Starting w/ RSLogix 500 & ML1400

Hello, I am just starting with a ML1400 and I would like to do something simple: a program counter and accessed values ??in Modbus. However this is the first time I use PLC, I am lost. I programmed this counter http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=302 But how to initialize the ML1400 to run this program ? thank you for your answer

It looks like what you have written will count to 10 and stop until a reset signal from an input is triggered. If you want the counter to continually run the reset should trigger from the done bit C5:0/DN Edited 27 May 2014 by Michael Lloyd

Hi, Even I'm starting with Micrologix 1400. Do you have any reference for communication set up? I can't connect ML1400 to PC. Thanks!

to run the program , you have to put the program from "Program mode" to "Run mode". After you download the program and go online with the processor, it is in "Online" tab,under "View" toolbar option. Edited 27 May 2014 by mikey431
