Factory talk view how to insert the .ocx file

hello everyone. I would like to know how to insert the ocx file into Factory Talk View Studio, because i need to use the activeX control from cognex camera to show the image in my screen. Thanks in advance! Eletrowesley

Are you running FactoryTalk View on a PanelView Plus terminal, or on a Windows 7 PC ? The only Cognex program that will run on a PanelView Plus is called VisionView CE. There is a good integration note on that on the Cognex website: http://www.cognex.com/support/downloads/File.aspx?d=2149&langtype=1033 The more complicated InSight programs will not run on a PanelView Plus, but you may be able to interface with them on a Windows PC using FactoryTalk View. Again, Cognex will have examples of this sort of thing.

Hi Ken,

I can view cognex image on  my laptop using FactoryTalk View but cant view on PanelView Plus.

is it need to install ocx file on PanelView Plus?
