Altivar Drive Command Timing Issue

1 post in this topic

Hello, I posted the other day abot problems I am having with Five Altivar 312 that I connect via Modbus. Upon starting the Drives are controlled by using s HMI to increase or decrease speed by using a reference to LFRD. The Inverters are not all running at their designated Speeds and I am wondering if maybe I need to delay the sending of the reference to LFRD. On Power up I send #006 to CMD to switch on the Drives I assume this is when the Drives carry out their diagnostics. I then send a #000F which sends a Forward Operation signal to the drive. Should I put a timer in my programme to start when #000F is sent and when this timer is made the reference signal will be sent. Please correct me if there are any Altivar experts out there. I failed to add that when the Drives run they go to their LSP and when I send an increase or decrease reference signal to LFRD they go to their correct speeds. Thanks for any assisstance. Regards Peter
