Hi ! I have PLC and I set IP 172.16.20.4 When My laptop has IP got automaticaly f.e 172.16.20.91 with mask 255.255.224.0 I cannot be online with PLC. When I changed IP in my laptop manually f.e 172.16.20.91 with mask 255.255.255.0 and gate and DNS empty I am online. What I should set in PLC to be online when I get IP automaticaly (with CJ2H-CPU66-EIP I am online in such a case) thanks for clue

Hi, Omron's FINs routing works automatically if you have a Class C subnet mask (i.e. 255.255.255.0) by matching your last IP octet as your FINS node. In my experience though, if you are using a non-Class C subnet mask (i.e. NOT 255.255.255.0) then you have to use the IP address table. Try setting this up so Node 91 maps to 172.16.20.91. Oh, also double check both PLC and PC subnets are set to 255.255.224.0 Regards, BB

1) Open plc settings 2) Go to Built-in ethernet click FINS/TCP settings 3) Click EDIT CHANGE node FROM 0 to 251 4) Download settings to plc 5) Cycle the power to plc 4) In CXP communication settings go to driver disable Auto-negotiation and set 251 as work station node addres Work online with any IP Edited by Yair
