Logix5000 Function Blocks

I would imagine this to be a very quickly resolved Thread..... Is it possible to online edit function blocks in logix5000? I was on site today and was trying to change some tags that where used within a function block routine. I was unable to whilst online but could do it offline Any one else had this issue?? Cheers

Are you talking about an "AOI" add on instruction function block? AOI's last I knew, could only be edited offline.

Actual Rockwell supplied FB's can be edited online.....this includes the PIDE (extended PID), filters and some other blocks.... AOI and user types can only be modified offline. bob
