Goodmorning to everybody and thanks I just got a new job where they have more siemens and they use simatic s7 I would like help with function bloc if anybody can show me how to have a documentation how to programe PLC using function Bloc. Happy holliday to everybody,may peace be with you all

hi there and welcome to forum, function blocks resemble digital circuits so for starters you should look at OR, AND, NOT etc blocks. this should be covered in S7 help file as well as any ttl cookbook etc. basic idea is to drop some blocks, connect them and assign inputs and outputs. you may also check download section.

first time you create Function Block (FB) or Function (FC) in Simatic manager (Block List). Open the your FB or FC and create the program in there, don't forget for define the input, output, or input-output. save the program, and ready to call. Remember FB need Data Block (DB), and FC no need. To call FB or FC is very easy. Only use Call FCxxx. Thx
