GML application to RSlogix5k motion instructions

Hello, As you could read in the title, I need to migrate a 4 axis 1394 Turbo rack to Kinetix 6000. Regarding the logic (GML), what do you think would be the best methodology to use in order to get it programmed in the RSLogix 5k software? Any soggestions are welcome. Best Regards. Daniel.

I have lots of GML experience and none with Kinetix. I have done a lot of reading on C-Logix motion and studied the commands, but no hands-on. Make sure you save and record all of the dynamics and tuning of the old system Make sure you save all of the system module configuration too. Since it's a turbo, be sure to fully comment the SLC interface (if used). Thoroughly understand the GML logic and everything it does. IIRC, most of the same types of functions can be performed and will have similar if not identical terminology. The implementation into ladder logic can be radically different in certain areas, which someone experienced with this type of retro-fit can probably elaborate on. Are you replacing motors too? Are you replacing a SLC on the Turbo interface? For good answers, give a lengthy description of the application and especially any blended motion, gearing, etc. Paul
