PROFIBUS...

With LabVIEW Real-Time support, can I add PXI or PC systems as slave or master nodes to a PROFIBUS industrial network. and how long of a distance could I connect I/O, sensors, and drives over in industrial environments? We're using Coaters, CNCs, Press Brakes, Lazer cutting equip., Robotic palatizer etc...
