1746 NI8 Failures

Over the last few years I have noticed we seem to have a lot of NI8 cards fail. When they fail it faults the processor saying "a specialty I/O module has generated a generic fault". We have about 15 SLCs with at least one NI8 card, all of them have not had one fail but to the best of my memory only one SLC has ever had more than one fail in it, and it has had two fail. I am going to track which ones fail for now on to see if we can figure something out, but I am curious if anyone else has had trouble with these cards. Thanks

Very strange. I've used a few NI8s and may NI4s and never had one fail. It may be worth sending one of them back to Rockwell for repair to see what is actually going wrong with them
