Siemens S5 100U Download

I am trying to download a program into a S5 100U what is the proper procedure for this? Also when I put the processor in run the light goes green and then red? Im using S5 for Windows! Thanks

Hi JDHammond. That the RUN LED changes from green to red, indicates that there was a problem when the CPU tried to run the program. I dont know S5 for Windows, but somewhere there must be a place to observe the USTACK and BSTACK. USTACK are a number of system flags that may pinpoint what kind of error caused the fault. BSTACK is a program information, telling you what program block and line caused the error, if the problem is program related.

For English read ISTACK instead of USTACK

Are you downloading all the blocks or just modified blocks? Have you tried downloading all the blocks?
