Difference between 1769-IQ32 and 1769-IQ32T

4 posts in this topic

"T" for "Termination", I guess. The regular -IQ32 has screw terminals for individual wire terminations. The -IQ32T has a 40-pin male MIL-C-83503 connector. The -IQ32T is meant for remote termination panel type installations. You can download the Installation Instructions from the A-B website: http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/i...in072_-en-p.pdf

T means your going to buy a terminal block specified by AB. It is under wiring guides. No T means your going to cram alot of wires into a really small place (the terminal block mouted to the card). You need to match the external terminal block to your card. This is spelled out in the guide. AB generaly gives you this option whenever the card has 32 I/o's or more.

This is kind of an old topic, but I'll use it to ask my question since it's closely related to this. There is no possibility to use a 1492 wiring system with 16 I/O points?
