Analogue multiplexing on Logo?

Hello What does analogue multiplexing on a Siemens Logo mean to my application? Will I be able to input a 0-5 volt signal on 2 wires to the PLC, or further will I be able to input 2 0-5 volt signals? Thanks Justwhy2003

I thought the multiplexer was an analog output function, which would work similar to the built-in options of a VFD for various output speeds based on input bits. Am I thinking of the wrong instruction?
