GE FANUC LR MATE 200ib - BASIC QUESTION

Howdy, I have just done with the grad school and am working with the lr mate 200 ib robot. Its my first outing with the fanuc lr mate 200ib. Right now just trying to script some simple programs to get my self acquainted, i am able to do that using the teach pendant but want to know if there is a software (editor and simulator) where i can do the coding and simulation in the computer and then upload it to the controller RJ-3. I have the handling-pro v.6.40 s/w but the s/w is not compatible with the lr mate 200ib. I had stored the program that i did in the teach pendant in a flash card(downloaded it from the controller to the card) and then tried to edit/open it with the handling-pro but the s/w throw a error that files are not compatible. I had called the fanuc tech support they say that there is no such s/w for lr mate 200 ib robot. Does any one knows is there any other software that is compatible with the "lr mate 200 ib". This would really make my scripting easier and faster. Any suggestions would be great help to a novice like me. Thanks
