Is it possible to insert a rung or shift the next rung down? In the attachment I want to extend the branch where the cursor is, down.... Thanks for any help gxdev.doc

yes, make sure you are in Write mode (screenshot shows you are) and just place cursor (presented as blue rectangle) a bit further to the right (on the rung logic, not on step number in front of rung) then press SHIFT+INSERT once or twice to insert new row(s). then you can add logic in new created space. Btw. since you are new, try reading GX Developer user manual first. This will save you some headacke, trust me.

Sorry to keep bugging - is there a way to see unused addresses.......I looked through the manual briefly and could not find anything. Thanks again

Go to the top of the screen to the 'Find/Replace' then to 'list of used devices' There type in x0 y0 m0 t0 etc if it has a star in the left columb it is used. If its blank, its spare
