ELECTRICAL SYMBOLS

I have a kid working here going to school and he wanted to know what the symbol for 15 and 16 are....I don't have a clue...anyone ever see these two electrical symbols before? Class_Activity1_Ladder_Logic.doc

Look Here 15. Normally open mechanical interlock? 16. Normally closed mechanical interlock?

I don't see a timer contact on the document you posted. Timers are pretty common and the symbol somewhat resembles a timer contact. So that's my guess. I have never seen it drawn like that before.

Probably the same thing, but I've always known those symbols to be Safety Interlocks.

The timer contacts are symbol numbers 30. 31. 32. 33.

Wow ... the teacher posted them right out of Autosketch...... Although iv'e never seen them or in fact used these symbols before.......classic TEXT BOOK TEACHING... not the real world......argh !!!!!
