Analog Out Forcing in Cntrlgix

I am forcing an analog out value on a bench test control logix. When the force is enabled the value turns red but continues to change based upon the code running it. The force value under the Force Mask column is what I set it too and does not change. I am not yet able to connect any real hardware to test the actual output, so my question is, is the output really forced to what I entered and the "red" value just showing what should be happening if the system was not force?

FYI, I was correct in my assumption. The force value is what the system is actually outputting and the "red" value is showing what the system would normally be outputting.
