  1. Hi there!   I'm trying to communicate a Weintek cMT2128X with a CP2EN via Ethernet. The thing is I'm getting 'No device response' messages every 2-3 seconds. They'are connected at some point because some values are updated, but the connection error keeps showing up. So far I've checked: - Comm. settings are okay in both sides - Wiring is good - Happens the same with a CJ2 CPU. - There are two arrays of 50 UINT each, I don't know if that's slowing things but that would surprise me...   I've worked with Weintek HMIs before (communicating with different CPUs: LOGO!, CP1, CJ2...) and never had this problem. I just set the IP addresses and everything was working fine, so I guess I'm missing something. Hope you can throw some light at this! Thanks in advance
  2. Hello,  after I updated my CMT-FHDX with codesys license, programming and uploading codesys i'ts ok , but I can't upload my CMT-FHDX project anymore. I see CMT  in easyweb, but easybuilder won't find the IP (won't recognize CMT HMI even if I manually add the CMT IP address)...so I can't upload project When trying to upload in easyweb, it's fails. I't say that is not the correct project (CMT-FHDX-220). I reset to factory de CMT and still the same problem. Before I updated with CODESYS license, I was able to upload succesfully projects to CMT-FHDX. Now I can't Please any advice Thankyyou
  3. Hey all,  So I am looking for some assistance because I am not understanding how the tags on an HMI and within a PLC are linked. There are no 'physical' buttons, just what is on the HMI. It is controlling a chiller. Communicates over Modbus TCP/IP. The PLC is an IDEC. I have some-what worked out how other tags are working when they are words being passed back and forth, but this one has me stumped. I've attached a few screenshots for referral. It looks like the run and unload buttons for the chiller are a single bit/BOOL toggle (but the chiller running latches itself in the PLC when the chiller starts to run). The stop buttons appears to be a parent for the single bit/BOOLs and when it is pressed it resets them all both on the HMI side and within the PLC side.
  4. Dear All, Omron NQ HMI was installed with CJ1M CPU. Now I am trying to replace the HMI with weintek MT8071iP but HMI showing communication problem. I have omron HMI NQ program and set protocol settings as was set in NQ please see the attachment. Please suggest what may be the reason? waiting for reply Thanks Shoaib omron_settings.zip
  5. An IoT system that have a Web server from node Red and Grafana for Power Monitoring, the Pump is controlled by the Schneider PLC M221 with a HMI from Weintek MT8071i with Modbus communications on TCP with RTU Gateway from Volison ADM 5850g
  6. In my system, MT8150XE and Allen bradley compactlogix communicate with PLC ethernet. When I compile the project I made with Easybuilder pro v5.01.04 and upload it to the screen with v6.05.01.565, it does not communicate at all and I get a no response error. only difference between the two projects Previously Driver V.1.50, ALLEN_BRADLEY_EIP_COMPACTLOGIX.e30 In the new one, the Driver says "Device ID: 156, v.1.80, as. ALLEN_BRADLEY_EIP_COMPACTLOGIX.e30" Copying the ALLEN_BRADLEY_EIP_COMPACTLOGIX DLL file from the old version driver folder to the new version folder, it rarely gets online. Is there a solution? Thank you from now
  7. Dear Friends, I have made this video to show you how to take data samples from Delta DVP PLC and save this log file in the Weintek HMI internal memory. The Weintek HMI internal memory is easily accessible using ftp. All the necessary steps are mentioned in the video. The link of the video is given below,
  8. i am trying to communication my weintek HMI with Siemens Energy Meter PAC3200. I am using MODBUS TCP/IP Protocol but i am unable to read the data register of my energy meter. Somehow i got to read the 32bit data register but still unable to read the 64bit data register of my total KWHr Energy consumption. I have also attached the manual of my energy meter. Please guide how to read all the data registers of that energy meter. Please see the page 40 onwards for reference. The manual the about 7MB so i cannot attach the file. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/attachments/26504150/A5E01168664B-04_EN-US_122016_201612221316360495.pdf
  9. PLC and HMI freezing issue

Hi I am using Delta DVP-20-SX2 PLC and Weintek MT8071IP HMI. I am experiencing a very strange issue. Whenever, i connect PLC and HMI to the same power source the PLC seems to freeze and does not perform required operations. However, when i connect PLC and HMI to separate power sources, the PLC keeps on performing its normal operation and updates data on HMI regularly. I have searched various forums and could not come up with an answer to why connection with same power source freezes PLC. Any help will be highly appreciated as it is not feasible to connect separate power sources for PLC and HMI.

  11. Modbus Addressing In Hmi Weintek

  12. Modbus Addressing in Weintek HMI

Modbus addressing in Weintek HMI to poll data from Temperature sensor through RS485. In my system i have connected Temperature sensor to I/O Scanner has output in terms of RS-485 which directly connected to COM3 Port pin. No. 6 (as Negative) & 9 (as Positive) of HMI (Model No: MT8071iE) and HMI connected to PC via ETHERNET. I want to read temp on HMI screen via MODBUS protocol. So, can you please provide me instruction about addressing of MODBUS register in Easy-Builder Software so can read data of corresponding register. Because when i do compile i got an error like " Device no Response". I hope i will get reply from your side as Fast as possible to overcome this problem. Thank you.

  14. WeinTek to AB PLC Issues

I am connecting a WeinTek eMT3105P to a CompactLogix L2 series PLC via the WeinTek Rockwell PLC (CompactLogix) - Free Tags driver and I cannot for the life of me get the thing to connect. I have all my tags imported and have played around with all the settings in the manuals I can find. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I know my IP addresses are correct and if I connect my cable directly from the HMI to the PLC I still get the "PLC no response" message
  15. Weintek and Redlion

Hi all.   I have a Weintek MTV 100 unit and using easy builder to create a screen. I have a Red Lion G15 hooked up to an AB plc. We do a few calcs using the G15 and store the values in tags. I have it also setup with as a  Modbus slave so I am using it as a protocal conversion.   I can see the 5 addresses I have set up with modbus from another PC using Modbus software and also a Modbus scanner.   However I am having difficulty getting the Weintek to talk to it? Can someone give me the exact protocol name of the Modbus protocol emitting from the Red Lion? The first address is simply 400001 so I am sure its not zero based but I seem to be missing something on the Weintek. Any help is much appreciated
  16. CJ2M serial communication

Hi! I'm trying to connect Omron plc CJ2M cpu11 (photo below) with Weintek touch panel. I've made proper cable, and I'm trying to establish communication between these two devices. I've wrote a script in Weintek's program, that sends and receives via serial port, rs232. Also, I've used example for serial communication in CX-Programmer, that you can see in attached files. I'm trying only to toggle one W adress using hmi. That sounds simple, but still, I'm not able to make plc and hmi to talk with each other. What I'm doing wrong?
