Hi guys, so i'm trying to send data to plc omron cp2e-n40dra via RS232C, I use RXD and TXD but it looks like my programs are wrong, the indicator of RS232C are on everytime i send the data so it looks like PLC receive my data but when i see it in memory PLC D i can't find any data stored. Can anyone help me please? hi everyone i m traying to write to plc a program and getting this message then program is not downloading to plc 'there is a device in the program (main) that is outside of the range check the program and currect the device that outside of the range ' I m using mitsubishi fx3ga-60mt plc. please suggest me about it . thank you

Hello, When i get error 2003 with sktTCPAccept what is causing it? Can it be caused if something was left open from previous session, is something wrong on server or client side? From F1 help i think error causes can be narrowed down to either open/close processing is in progress for SrcTcpPort although it doesnt specifically state that it causes error 2003. After closing port is there delay needed before i can use sktTCPAccept again?

MY OMRON CJ1M CPU12 SHOWS UNIT NUMBER DUPLICATE ERROR. ERROR CODE IS 0X80E9. THE CPU HAS TWO NUMBER OF HIGH SPEED COUNTER IN A RACK SOME AND I/O UNITS. Good Morning, I connect using a TCPSocket a remote node with my NJ501-1300. In order to test communication with the remote node I use a telnet communication and send from it messages to the remote node: it work correctly opening the connection and then sending all messages I want; the connection will close only at the end of the communication session. WHAT HAPPEN ON NJ? On NJ Open connection whit remote node; Connection is open; Send first message to remote node; Receive correct answer from remote node; Send another ore the same message to remote node; Receive an unknown command answer from remote node. WHY??? To solve previous problem I need to: Close the open connection; Wait the time to reopen it; Reopen connection; send the message; receive the correct answer from the remote node; Close connection Wait the time to reopen it; Reopen connection; send the message; receive the correct answer from the remote node; close connection and so on... Could someone help me to solve this problem opening the connection only once and then close it at the end of the end of communication session?! THANK YOU -
Hi all, I have finished installing ethernet adapter module FX3U-ENET-ADP on the FX3U-48M PLC. From the ethernet module, i connected it to a wireless router and then i am planning of connecting to the ethernet module using GXWorks 2 on my laptop through wireless router. On the ethernet module, the error indicator LED is on (red). From the FX3U-ENET-ADP, it means that there might be setting or hardware errors. I am asking if i have missed some steps on the installation process and if any of you have experience with similar problems. Thanks in advance for the answers.

Hi all, I want to ask some questions regarding Ethernet Communication with FX3U PLC series. I have 2 PLCs of FX3U series (FX3U-48M and FX3U-64M) and I want to monitor its data (input and output) using ethernet communication in real time. My questions are: 1. Does FX3U PLC have ethernet port so I can connect it directly to my Laptop/PC? 2. If no, do I need to use FX3U-ENET-ADP and can it be used for 2 PLC or only 1? 3. What software do I need to use to configure the communication between PLC and FX3U-ENET-ADP? 4. Does this configuration change the existing PLC program? 5. Can i transmit the data wireless-ly using some kind of ethernet to wifi adapter and what additional hardware do i need for that?

Hi, I am trying to establish communication between master and slave through modbus rtu rs485. But I am experiencing error code 7378h. I already tried to make the values of Request Interval Timer from 100 to 200 and Broadcast Delat Value from 50 to 100. But the error still persist. Any tips how to solve this issue? There is no error on the slave evices.

Hello, I am building an application in CitectSCADA and I want to communicate with an Omron Sysmac CS1G. The connection between the plc and the Citect computer is through an ethernet to serial adapter (the computer doesn't have com ports on board). I'm having some difficulty establishing the communication and I want to make sure that I can actually reach the plc. Is there a way to check that the computer can reach the plc over the serial connection without using CX programmer? Maybe using Hyper Terminal, Putty or something similar. Thank you, Liron

Hi Everyone, I've just installed InTouch V10 and am trying to develop communication with Emulate5000, for educational purposes. I looked over the internet and found some videos on how to develop communications by setting up the topic name and node name in DA Server manager, but the issue I'm facing is that my SMC only shows logViewer and nothing else (snapshot attached). Am I missing some vital component or dirver? Or is there some problem with my installation? Help would be much appreciated. P.S: Window Maker and Viewer are working fine. Thanks, Sabih

hello expert i want ask some help So i tried to communicate my Omron PLC (cj2m cpu31) with SCADA from Schneider (power logic) on my omron side the comunnication on PLC already take to communication to NB so i add communication module CJ1W-SCU41-v1 I want asking how to open the communication if i want the scada become a master and my plc become slave i got this from omron website is that program compete for my case? i need configuration for scu41 module also to communicate or if you have suggestion i really open i just need to open port RS232c from scu41 so scada can read the data from my plc tahnkyou for your help MRTU_CPU_Slave.zip -

Folks, we have a set of Mitsubishi Q12PRHCPU (redundant) running effortless since many years. CPU-A as standby and CPU-B as Control. Recently we noticed BATT low alarm on CPU-B. So we arranged for a spare battery Q6BAT and started the procedure as per manual(attached procedure and flow chart). We did memory copy from Control to standby (as prescribed precaution) and did the Reset of Standby PLC CPU-A. Memory copy from B to A completed successfully 100%. But the BACKUP LED did not turn Green from Red & Error LED kept flickering on standby CPU-A. CPU-B remain in Control but backup LED turned RED. From system monitoring we found that there is a Error 6000 (FILE DIFF.) observed in One of the .QPG (program 00-MDBUS.QPG). We tried to reset it but were not successful. We are surprised that why does the program differs when it was copied from CPU-B to CPU-A using the memory copy. Still we did the VERIFY and found no difference between the programs in CPU-A & CPU-B. Can anyone explain the cause of this issue and the solution. Please note that the CPU-B is still in control and plant is running. Backup LED on both CPU are red which means (redundancy loss) and error LED on standby CPU-A is flickering RED. There is no error in the CPU-A (Control) -we checked this using the GX Developer. Also attached here are the image of the error and error help. Thanks in advance. I have 24 Siemens Siprotec relay(7sj62) which i want to communicate with Scadapack 330E (Schneider) on 103 Protocol. but every time I try to communicate it shows Slave device is failed to communicate. trying to communicating via serial (RS-485). What should i do..?? or do i need to communicate it with Siemens PLC..?? If so which PLC should use..??

Hello, i want to connect my PC to the PLC(RSLogix5561) over TCP/IP. In rslinx the Ethernet driver are configured. My PLC IP Adresse is 192.168.1.100 and my PC Adresse is 192.168.1.105. From my PC i can successfully ping the PLC IP Adresse, but from the PLC i can't see my PC. And it does'nt schow in RSlinx. Is there anything i am missing?

(IO Table image is attached) PLC1- CJ2M-CPU33 IP- 10.113.218.34 SUBNET-255.254.0.0 UNIT NO - 00 (set the dial available on the CPU in HEX) NODE - 22 (set the 2 dials available on the CPU in HEX) PLC2- CJ2M-CPU33 IP- 10.113.218.35 SUBNET-255.254.0.0 UNIT NO - 01 (set the dial available on the CPU in HEX) NODE - 23 (set the 2 dials available on the CPU in HEX) Now, what i have to do is to transfer the D100 to D110 from PLC1 to PLC2's D200 to D210 and Transfer the D100 to D110 from PLC2 to PLC1's D200 to 210. I have tried RECV and ECHRD blocks but didn't succeed yet. Two CPU are connected over ethernet via a industrial switch. Can you help me to achieve data transmission please...

hi there. .. i am new to plc programming.. Right now i am having problem related to communication between hmi and plc.. i have HMI WEintek 6070ip and plc mitsubishi FX2n.. i have written a program in gx developer . and communicate it with EASY Builder for HMI. so for now plc is communicating with my program written for hmi on pc. but when i downlaod to hmi and connect plc cable to hmi then hmi shows no plc communication. i am having a problem for communication between hmi and plc. any help will be a life saver. thanks in advance

Hi everyone! I got this machine with a CP1H PLC and NS8-TV00B-V2 as PT. I was told that they were working fine, but suddenly, It appeared a communication issue: black screen and "connecting..." at right bottom. I dont know if It is a configuration problem or some hardware damage. These are the configuration in the PT and the PLC. The communication is through RS232 Serial. I tried to communicate another PT screen with the same communication settings and IT WORKED!. ' I've been thinking that, perhaps, the serial port A is damaged, I have tried to set port b, but I havent could. How can I configurate PORT B?? THANKS...

Hey all - I am working on a car wash system design that will utilize the Nayax payment system. Has anyone utilized them? How do I incorporate the device with PLC to automate the system. After payment is approved how can I send out that signal from them, all via ethernet on a managed switch w/ wifi for exterior comms for the Nayax.

Hello, I need to connect remotely to an OPC Server DA. In my PC I have installed several OPC Clients but when I try to connect to the server (therefore located on another machine) I get an "access denied" error. How can I authorize the exchange of information between the 2 machines? Thanks

HiI have a Panasonic Minas A5 servo drive trying to test in free run a Panasonic A6 servo motor, But as there is a mismatch between the motor and the drive, error 95.0 appears, which declares "motor automatic recognition protection". I'm looking for eliminating this error. (saying that cause in other brands like Yaskawa or some mitsubishi drives this error, known as combination error, can be cleared). I think maybe by changing some parameters this error can be cleared.Any idia?Regards
